The Bible says that Christians are crucified with Christ, buried with Christ, raised with Christ and seated with Christ in heaven (Romans 6:4-6, Ephesians 2:4-6; Galations 2:20: Colossians 2:12-13: 3:1-4). This union with Christ results in our heavenly position. This position should impact our practice here on earth. Specifically, it should result in at least three things. Besides "seeking the things above" and "setting our minds on the things above", Christians should also "separate from the things below." Last Sunday we looked at 5 things specified by the apostle Paul. This Sunday we will examine the remaining six.
